Our roots... we were birthed as New Life
New Life Foursquare Ministries began in the fall of 2002 as a church plant from Faith Chapel (faithchapel.cc), birthed under the care and leadership of Steve and Tricia Schreiner in Laurel, MT.
For the first 11 years, Steve and Tricia guided the fledgling congregation, rooting it in the Word of God and the power of His Spirit, fostering a tight-knit community that has become an anchor in Laurel. On the Corner of 1st and 1st, God has placed us right in the heart of town. Though the early days didn’t use the language of “pursuing His presence,” God’s manifestations—through inner healing, deliverance, signs, and miracles—were woven into the church’s fabric from the start. In 2013, their son Jacob and his wife Amber took the helm, ushering in a transformative season where John 15:5,8—“I am the vine, you are the branches”—became the ministry’s heartbeat.

Where we are going...
This shift brought pruning and growth, building on the foundation Steve and Tricia laid, as the Holy Spirit whispered, “Build for a world that does not exist yet.” From this vision sprang the School of Light (now Branches Academy), a private Christian school that grew from preschool to 8th grade, educating the next generation in faith. Tricia rejoined the senior leadership team years after the transition, while Steve stepped into the business world, using profits to fund Kingdom work until his passing into heaven in June 2024. Following his graduation, God spoke to the leadership about a new season, birthing The Vine | a Foursquare Church as a legal entity on January 1, 2025—a big step into the next phase of life in His Kingdom, alive in the Spirit and rooted in Christ.
