The Mission
The mission of The Vine Ministries is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: to Abide in Him.
Abiding in Christ, so all will know His glory!
Abiding in Christ, so all will know His glory!
The Vision
The vision of The Vine Ministries is create a place where what Jesus wants grows. Where we get the same results He got and live the way that He did. Looking like, acting like, smelling like, tasting like, even feeling like He did.
What We Believe
The Holy Scriptures
We affirm the Bible as the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, containing eternal truth that guides, convicts, and transforms believers. It reveals God's nature, exposes sin, and points to redemption in Christ (2 Timothy 3:16-17; Psalm 119:105).

The Eternal Godhead
There is one true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—perfectly holy, loving, and just. The Father redeems the lost; the Son mediates through His incarnation, death, and resurrection; the Holy Spirit convicts, empowers, and indwells believers (Matthew 28:19; John 1:1-3; 2 Corinthians 13:14).
The Fall of Man
Humanity was created in God's image for fellowship with Him but fell through voluntary disobedience, introducing sin, death, and separation. All are sinners by nature and choice, deserving condemnation yet offered grace (Genesis 1:27; Romans 5:12; 3:23).
The Plan of Redemption and Salvation Through Grace
While sinners, Christ—the sinless Son—died in our place, bearing our condemnation and purchasing freedom from sin, sickness, lies, and torment. Salvation is wholly by grace through faith in His atoning work, not by human effort, resulting in justification, adoption, and eternal life (Romans 5:8; Ephesians 2:8-9; John 3:16).
Repentance, Acceptance, and the New Birth
Upon sincere repentance and wholehearted acceptance of Jesus as Lord, believers are justified, born again, and transformed—old things pass away, and new desires for righteousness emerge. This creates a joyful identity as saints, empowered to overcome (2 Peter 3:9; 2 Corinthians 5:17; Romans 10:9-10).
The Holy Spirit and Baptism of the Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit regenerates, indwells, and empowers believers for witness and service. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a distinct experience, enduing with power, gifts (e.g., wisdom, healing, prophecy), and fruit (e.g., love, joy, self-control), fostering prayer, holiness, and supernatural ministry (Acts 1:8; 2:4; 1 Corinthians 12:1-11; Galatians 5:22-23).
The Spirit-Filled Life and Daily Christian Living
Believers are called to walk daily in the Spirit, pursuing sanctification, moderation, and godly conduct—avoiding extremes, fanaticism, or grieving the Spirit. This involves growth in faith, humility, honor, generosity, and healthy community, reflecting Christ's character and advancing His Kingdom (Ephesians 4:30-32; Galatians 5:16-25; Philippians 4:5).
Water Baptism and the Lord's Supper
Water baptism publicly declares faith and union with Christ's death and resurrection. The Lord's Supper commemorates His body and blood, promoting self-examination and unity (Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:4; 1 Corinthians 11:26-28).
Divine Healing
Healing is part of Christ's redemptive work, available through faith-filled prayer, as God is unchanging and good, eager to restore body, soul, and spirit (James 5:14-16; Matthew 8:17; Acts 10:38).
The Church and Its Mission
The Church is Christ's body and bride, a family of believers advancing God's Kingdom by preaching the gospel, discipling nations, undoing evil, and fostering transformation. Evangelism is paramount, supported by tithing and offerings as God's method for provision and blessing (Matthew 28:18-20; Acts 2:41-47; Malachi 3:10; 2 Corinthians 9:7).
Civil Government
Authorities are divinely appointed for order; believers obey unless conflicting with God's will, serving as ambassadors of truth (Romans 13:1-5; Acts 5:29).
The Second Coming, Judgment, Heaven, and Hell
Christ's return is personal and imminent, with resurrection and judgment separating the righteous to eternal life in heaven—a place of joy and God's presence—from the wicked to hell, a realm of torment. We live expectantly, occupying diligently until then (1 Thessalonians 4:16-17; 2 Corinthians 5:10; Revelation 21:4; 20:10, 15).
Core Commitments
We commit to holiness, wholeness, and accountability in relationships, affirming marriage as between one man and one woman, sobriety, and generous living. God is extravagantly good, nothing is impossible with Him, and believers are significant yet humble, called to dream big, pursue revival, and honor all as image-bearers (Ephesians 5:21-33; Titus 2:11-14; James 1:17).
