Since 2013, Pastor Jacob has led The Vine in Laurel, Montana, where he serves as an ordained Foursquare minister. After completing his pastoral studies at Yellowstone Valley Bible Institute, he spent nearly seven years in his early twenties working at a state-sponsored halfway house. There, he guided over 200 men monthly as they rebuilt their lives after prison or treatment. This work opened his eyes to see people as God sees them—with potential and worth beyond their past.
Everything changed when he was 17. During a school trip, Jesus appeared to Jacob in his dorm room with a simple question: “Make your choice?” In that moment, Jacob recommitted his life to God and began healing from the inside out. Over the years that followed, Jesus taught him that we aren’t broken by what happens to us—we’re born disconnected from God, and only His love can make us whole again.
The subsequent years became a masterclass in divine love as Christ revealed that human brokenness originates not from worldly circumstances but from our inherent separation from our Creator—a separation only Christ’s love can fully reconcile.
