Welcome to Branches Academy at The Vine, where we’ve been nurturing the Laurel community for over a decade—formerly as New Life School of Light—as a private Christian school serving children ages 3 through 8th grade in the light of Christ.

As a ministry of The Vine, we are dedicated to fulfilling the biblical call to “train up a child” (Proverbs 22:6) by discipling students to know God deeply and live out truth. Our mission goes beyond teaching; we foster meaningful relationships to guide children in thriving socially, intellectually, emotionally, physically, and spiritually. We are a 4 day a week school, Monday -Thursday. Through preaching the Word, Worship, Prayer, Discipleship, and Academics we equip young hearts to build strong connections with God and others, preparing them to impact the world for His Kingdom.

4-Day a week School

3 - 5 year old's

8:30am-11:30am

Our program offers flexible morning schedules tailored to each child's age group. For 3- and 4-year-olds, families may choose either a two-day option (Mon/Wed or Tues/Thurs) or a four-day option. Children aged 4 and 5 attend four mornings per week to ensure optimal preparation for kindergarten.

Kindergarten - 8th Grade

8am-4pm

Our primary school operates Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with the goal of eliminating homework for students. We have designed these longer days to include plenty of breaks and motivational activities throughout. This approach leaves classroom time dedicated to collaborative work, building strong relationships, and advancing academics. As a result, weekends remain open for family time, rest, and fun.

Our Beliefs
The Foursquare church started as a revival and has turned into a global church.

The Vine was birthed in 2002 as New Life Foursquare, a local church in Laurel, MT. Our school was founded in 2014 as School of Light. In January of 2025 we became The Vine and Branches at The Vine. We are part of movement that was started by the Holy Spirit in revival meetings in Southern California during the Azusa Street Revival over 100 years ago.
